American Chronicles 7:14 Vision and Mission Statement
“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).
Operation Save America is gearing up for its national event in New Orleans, LA from July 19-26, 2014. Committed Christians throughout America will join with the local church in New Orleans. Together, they will seek the Lord and work to make New Orleans abortion free, in Jesus’ name!
OSA has some unfinished Kingdom business to complete in New Orleans. When OSA first came to New Orleans in 1995, there were eight abortion mills applying their grisly trade. Today, there is one.
Recently, Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana signed HB 388. This law has the potential to shut down three of the five remaining abortion mills defiling the land. The three clinics just happen to be the ones OSA plans on visiting during the national event.
To help prepare the way into New Orleans, OSA is calling for three days of fasting and prayer. The goal is to fulfill Isaiah 58:6, which states, “Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke?”
The starting date for this time of fasting and prayer is July 14, 2014, a significant date for America. Not only will OSA commence its annual time of fasting and prayer, this date signals a national call to pray for America based upon 2 Chronicles 7:14.
OSA is calling this prayer movement “American Chronicles 7:14.” Starting July 14 (7/14) and ending at the midterm election on November 4, 2014, individuals, families, and churches are asked to pray for America. Twice a day, 7:14 in the morning and 7:14 evening, Christians everywhere are asked to stop and pray for our nation. If twice is impossible, once a day would suffice. One good way to remember these appointed times is to set phone alarms for 7:14.
Rev. Rusty Lee Thomas, who is spearheading this effort, stated, “We pray a spirit of supplication will inspire multitudes with broken and contrite hearts to intercede for our nation. The need to pray for our government, the church, the lost, with a specific emphasis on delivering our nation from evil is vital for our future.”
Together, the church can make a difference in our nation by crying out to God during this window of opportunity to reestablish America in righteousness (Proverbs 14:34). “O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, listen and act! Do not delay for Your own sake, my God, for Your city and Your people are called by Your name” (Daniel 9:19).

“If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).
Recently, Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana signed HB 388. The law has the potential to shut down three of Louisiana’s five remaining abortion clinics. It may even have a negative impact upon Planned Parenthood’s proposed mega center currently under construction.
Providentially, Operation Save America is gearing up for its national event in New Orleans, Louisiana from July 19-26, 2014. Committed Christians throughout America will join with area churches in New Orleans. The three clinics in question just happen to be the ones OSA will visit with the love and truth of Christ.
OSA, through national membership and in partnership with area churches, offers the Gospel, pregnancy counseling, support, and transitional assistance to women in crisis. When OSA first visited New Orleans in 1995, the city housed eight abortion clinics. Today there is one.
To help prepare the way, OSA is calling for three days of fasting and prayer (July 14-16, 2014). At the same time, OSA is seeking to commence a national prayer movement called American Chronicles 7:14. Beginning July 14, 2014 (7-14-14), Christians everywhere are asked to stop and pray for America twice a day (7:14 in the morning and/or 7:14 in the evening). This national prayer movement is set to continue through the midterm elections, which ends November 4, 2014. OSA’s goal is to inspire Christians with a common vision of restoring our country through meeting the righteous requirements set forth in 2 Chronicles 7:14.
Rev. Rusty Lee Thomas, Assistant to the Director of OSA, is helping to spearhead the New Orleans outreach. According to Thomas, “The great need of the hour is for multitudes with broken and contrite hearts to seek God to deliver our nation from evil. We love our nation and pray that we will return to the God of the Bible, who alone can hear from heaven, forgive our sins, and heal our broken, wounded land. Offering life and hope at abortion clinics is merely our prayers of repentance in action. Together, the church can make a difference.”
