Greetings, Brother

I have clicked on several links here on the archive page and get an error, file not found every time. There is some great stuff here, useful and powerful things and cannot access them for some reason. It might be on my end but then, again it might be on the web hosting side. Just wanted you to be aware...

Excellent article, but you should address the persersion of our civil and criminal laws by the lgbt lobby. For example, civil unions, false legal doctrines such as sexual orientation, etc. are being added to the civil and criminal laws at the expense of the truth and are being used to take away freedom of religion. The danger you speak about for Christians is becoming a reality in Canada, the UK and Europe, as laws are perverted and added to raise "gay rights"above everything else.

I wrote a book that highlights the teachings (You can find it on our website) and the course is still available to folks. We just need a minimum of 10 candidates that will commit to the week long training. The cost is $100.00 for each candidtate, which includes the copy of the book.

Amen Miss Patrice, I agree.

I was not preaching to a woman, but a man failing in his responsibility to protect and defend his woman and child. He was also being deceived by a wolf in sheep's clothing that promotes a racism that has led to the extermination of his race. I was speaking man to man. not preacher to woman. Believe me, I understand the difference, and my approach would adjust to the audience.

Rev. Thomas,
In your last response to me, you mentioned the words of Jesus in Matthew 23. A friend of mine commented on this passage, "The words of Jesus in Matt 23 were spoken in the temple and his condemnations were directed against the religious leaders. The message fit the venue and the target audience. The temple was a place where people came to hear prophetic declarations. People also came to hear John in the wilderness (Matt 3:7) where he said, again to the religious leaders, "You brood of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come." The multitudes also came to hear Jesus, voluntarily. He didn't ambush His audience with His teaching." I think that my friend has it right when he analyzes how Christ effectively preached. Christ always took into consideration who his audience was, and how they should best be approached e.g. with a parable or direct words.
The outside of an abortion clinic is a terribly emotionally charged place and a precious life of a child is at stake as well as the eternal soul of the mother. One usually only has about a 30 second window to make an attempt to save the baby. One of the most effective things to do to save the baby is to make the mother think of God. How best to do that? I have watched people preach at the woman about how she will go to hell if she kills her baby. I have never witnessed a save using this method. A better approach is for the woman to see people on the sidewalk praying for her and her child. That will make her think about what she is doing in light of God. When she sees this, and hears someone gently offering her help to overcome her difficulties - she will often change her mind. A baby was saved this morning (Thursday, Dec. 1)using this method here in Little Rock. How would you want your daughter approached if she was ever in this perilous situation? This is an issue of how Christians should treat others. Christ never yelled at a woman. He calmly spoke with the woman at the well. He did not condemn the woman caught in adultery.

Dear Patrice,

I have read the book and know Miss Abby. I've worked with her on pro-life projects in Austin, TX. When you say Christ-like, it seems you have one image in mind. Our Lord operated in both aspects of ministry: mercy and prophetic. You cannot read Matthew 23 and come away with the view that Christ does not condemn. It was and remains a part of His ministry. He is a God that is merciful and yet will judge sin and sinner. The apostle Paul taught us to warn the sinner to flee from the wrath that is to come and knowing the terror of the Lord we should persuade all men.

I try my best to do both. I give the law to the hard hearted sinner and give grace to the broken sinner. This is the model that Christ left for us to follow. Do I sometimes confuse the two. I have in the heat of battle. But my heart is the same as yours. You approach it more as a woman and rightly so, from the mercy, nurturing side of God. But it is no crime nor sin to uphold the fatherly, justice and prophetic side of God. Both are needed in this battle to end the holocaust that is desroying our nation.

By the way, I can also give you testimony of folks that came out of the abortion industry and ran right into the arms of our Savior through my "tirades." Experience is no gadge or replacement for the truth of God's word. Sometimes God was gentle in His approach and sometimes harsh. Behold the goodness and the severity of God!
